Viola Travels is the solo project of Camilla Karlsson (of 'It's For Us'), originally from Stockholm, now living in a small village in Ludvika, Dalarna. She has been a part of the Swedish music scene for many years, mainly fronting post-punk band ’It’s For Us’. Now she has announced her solo debut EP ’Bloodline’. A new chapter for her as a songwriter, musician and artist. Four delicate indie pop songs about dealing with the difficulties in life while still being amazed by its beauty. The first single ’Fun' was written when Camilla was on maternity leave with her first child. She had recently moved to a new city where she knew no one and the pandemic was ongoing. Feeling very alone, isolated, confused and wondered, "How the hell did this happen?".
